IMPORTANT COVID-19 Information for our Petone Club Members.

Date: Sunday, 27 February 2022

Good Afternoon Members,

We have recently been informed that there was a confirmed case of COVID-19 at the Petone Club. The person was the guest of a member on:
Thursday, 24 February 2022 between 1.15pm & 3.00pm.

If you have been identified as a close contact, you would/will have received a phone call from MoH informing you.
If you do not receive a call then you are not a “Household Contact” but if you were at the Club during that time, you will be considered a “Casual Contact” and as such do not have to isolate.

You should only isolate and/or get a COVID-19 test if:

• you have symptoms, or
• you are a Household Contact.

At Phase 3, PCR tests will be used for people who need it most, and Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) will become more widely available. When you go for a test, the Testing Centre will let you know which test is best for you. Positive RAT results do not need to be confirmed with a PCR test unless advised.

The nearest Testing Centre is located on Udy St. and operates between 10.00am – 4.00pm daily.

The Petone Club has maintained a very high standard of compliance within the Covid-19 guidelines, with verification of vaccine passes, scanning in, mask wearing, social distancing and table service throughout this period. This will continue in order to protect our members and guests as much as possible.

We have deep cleaned and sanitised all relevant areas following MoH guidelines and the Club remains open.
As always, the health and wellbeing of our membership, staff and community is our top priority.

If you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to contact the Club via email: generalmanager@petoneclub.co.nz
