Covid Level 2 – Delta

Hello Members,

We are relieved to hear that the Government has this afternoon announced that all of New Zealand (excluding Auckland) will move to Alert Level 2 at 11.59pm on Tuesday 7th September.

These Alert Level settings are set to be reviewed on Monday 13th September.

We are pleased to say that the Petone Club will be open from midday this Wednesday the 8th of September with the following restrictions in place:

– Access for members only (members will be able to sign in 1 guest)
– Mandatory scanning in will be in effect – members must have their membership cards with them at all times.
– As per the government’s advice the 50 person maximum limit will apply during this time.
– It will be mandatory to wear a face-covering when entering the Club. (you will be able to remove your mask to eat and drink only)
– Social distancing will need to be observed.
– There will be no weekly live entertainment, raffles, quiz or our weekly wellness classes.
– Weekly Adjunct activities will be postponed and pool / snooker tables will be closed.
– Opening and/or closing times may be affected.

The Club Executive and management will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the health and welfare of our membership and we appreciate your continued support during these challenging times.
